Begin your safari with an early morning transfer from Diani Beach to Nairobi (by flight or the Standard Gauge Railway, depending on your package). Meet your safari driver-guide and depart for the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve, enjoying scenic views of the Great Rift Valley along the way.
Arrive in time for lunch before embarking on your first afternoon game drive through the reserve, where you may encounter lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, and many other wildlife species. Later, check in to your safari lodge or tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
